Friday, March 5, 2010, departure is 8:30 a.m. from the Keck Park parking lot and return to Coalinga around 3 p.m. Transportation fee is $20 per person. This trip is a pretty ride through the eastside of the valley where the Peach, Nectarines, Cherry and Almond trees are blooming. The first stop is the official beginning of the Blossom Trail, Simonian Farms. Here you may pick up souvenirs and treats for your tour. We will be stopping in Reedley for a lunch break and then travel back towards Coalinga. Deadline for registration is 3/3/10, Coalinga-Huron Recreation and Park District office, 555 Monroe St., Coalinga, 935-0727. Seniors may pay their fee with installments by 3/3/10.
